Objective

In less than a week, Greener Source removed over 85 tons of material from a commercial and industrial developer company site located in Sunnyvale, CA. Removal included various office furniture items from private offices, workstations and conference rooms.

Challenge(s) & Solution

With covid-19 safety regulations in place, the Greener Source team successfully executed the decommission earlier than projected. Given a two week timeframe, the job was completed in just six days, including the careful removal of data cabling located from workstations to server rooms. Due to careful extraction of items, over 75% of material was suitable for recycling, significantly reducing landfill accumulation.
